Laughing child and Cat

Good evening.... It is late and I am so very tired but I want to leave you with pictures of my laughing girl and the new cat I made. They are listed at my auction on eBay... I will edit this post as soon as I can with more detail. I am letting you double click on the first image to enlarge if you want to. This is my first 1:12 child that has both bottom and top teeth!*grin*

Update: July 29
" Hi, I am back to tell you a little bit about Carolina.
As I mentioned in prior posts, my desire is to improve in both figurines and animals making. For my little girls, I have decide to pour out my heart and effort to create figurines with much more expression than just pretty dolls. I want to give my collectors a chance to have a doll that will truly speak to them. I am a mother of 7 children and I know well how much emotions takes a young child to show their feelings. I want the same for my dolls, with their body expressions, hands ,positions and specially face features. Carolina was my first effort to create a full smile including bottom and upper teeth. These teeth were truly a challenge for me because its irregular tiny shape. At the end, I was most pleased. The funny thing about sculpting faces with such expression is that I think I was smiling the entire time too, I know it sounds silly but is true. I am now wondering if when I sculpt a very angry child with a super mad expression how is it that *I* will feel, grin.
Well, this is it for now.... I am looking forward to show you the new girl I am working with it, she is so sweet. and yes, she too is smiling but in a shy way.

Good morning, Tita,

You have done it again.....such expression and the TEETH add so much more realism than ever! Now to get the smile right in either drawing, painting or sculpting is not an easy task, but I see that your hard work has proven to be the ONLY method for anyone to improve and finally show the mastery...you have achieved that dearest one!

GROSSES BISES TO A VERY, VERY SPECIAL FRIEND! Nita

Dear Pat, I must agree with Anita completely. You have mastered the art of sculpting a very life like child! All of these children lately are so realistic, and the poses are wonderfully childlike, and seem to move! I think you have done a wonderful job on her teeth! wow, I am in awe once again of your talents. bravo dear friend. Warm hugs, and smiles always, Christel

Dear Tita,

Just had to come for a visit. I do visit regularly even if I don't always comment. Your work is artistically beautiful and delightfully humorous -- a perfect combination in my book.
