Litlle Princess , Dancer r& Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog

Hello dear readers & friends~*grin*

I don't know where you all live, but here in NC the weather is getting hotter everyday. We have been harvesting tomatoes, Okra , zucchini , squash , broccoli , green beans and sorts of others almost every other day .

Although I enjoy sculpting, I have not been able to do a lot lately because of the farm demands but these little girls were a pure joy to make.*grin*

I also did the chair. This chair was originally a vintage chair that I sanded down and re-did it. The gold is real gold and I use the leafing process in which is much different than painting with liquid gold. I did the upholstery with a gorgeous silk that I bought from a a German lady that I meet at a doll show last year.

Little Princess is dressed in the same silk.

They will be listed at eBay shortly. The dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He's coat is a dual naturally colored wool.
Thank you for visiting me!!!

Dear Pat

They are so precious... I love your dolls.. and what an amazing job you did with King Charles Spaniel.. I love what you have done with the chair. I had used gold leaf years ago.. Yes, much different than using gold leaf paint yes? I had tiny pieces floating away from me..
So you did see the bunny in the clouds! Ok, then I have not lost my mind.

Tita my dear, it is always complete when I see a comment from you...it was a great visit with everyone, and connecting with Penny was so fun and like a dream! We couldn't believe that we were sitting there with Ruben, eating lunch!!! We went to the most darling old town and the antique stores were everywhere. Oh I wish I could see you....somehow, someway, God will provide a way to see each other. As I look on your blog here, I can see that you have been busy. I can only image how life is on the farm. I hope everyone is well and that each day, you are having that God-given joy fill your heart. Wow, as I look to my left and see the dog above the polar bear, it seems as if I am looking at a REAL dog! Your magical light never dims.

Much love, Nita

Heehheeee! You visited Nowhere and saw Tea Rat in his dilemna....I am fine. I am not a sun bunny, so I stay out of the sun, but Tea Rat, in his naked state stayed out too long in the hot California sun! Thanks for the Emu oil remedy however, I would imagine that it is wonderful!!!! :) Oh, I visited Kate's blog!!! She is a great writer, Tita!

You must be proud my dearest! Anita
