Sheep in the pasture...

Here is another piece that I started last year. The sheep was patiently waiting for its stand , and I am glad it is finished.
It is so true that the “grass is greener on the other side”! I maintain a flock of beautiful sheep, from which I gather my wool for my creations. With a soft spot in my heart for these animals, I dreamt up this piece portraying a realistic scene that can be found on any farm that still has barbed-wire fences! Truly, this is an image that I am fortunate to witness every day-these lovely creatures grazing amongst the wispy blades of green, green grass.

ps. do click on each picture so you can see the details of both sheep and stand.*grin*

Each time I stroll by your farm to enjoy a moment of peacefulness, there is always a new treasure to tuck into my heart. We do not have sheep, however our gentle cows do the same...smile...You have captured a sweet pastoral landscape with your loving hands...ever yours, Rose
