making miniature chair and sofa

Hi , I just finished making this sofa today. I got a pattern of the Internet and modified a little bit to fit what I had in mind.Do you believe that I made this sofa using heavy paper ? I am now making little pillows to go with it and hopefully when my room box is ready you will it there.
This is a chair that I bought of ebay. I paid $10 for 13 pieces of miniature furniture. I kept 3 to work with it and gave the others to my daughter Rebecca , in which was very very pleased!*grin*

I love to work with wood however; I confess that working at this scale is a new thing to me and I struggle with the size some times but because I have made dolls furniture before and I have restore our own furniture , the concept is always the same.
Here I cut the back and bottom because I want to create a French provincial chair that had a country and vintage look.

Here I gave a first coat of paint and let it dried.

I finished with a cane and decided to paint it all satin white. I had it in cane color first but after doing some research on French provincial furniture , I saw the when one had cane was always all white. I am not done yet . I am working on pillows.

You have my full attention now, you've had tea with Tasha. How very blessed you are. Tell me how that ever happened? I first came to know her work when I was in London visiting at only 17 yrs old and I came about her book "First Graces". Not until several years later when I discoverd "Pumpkin Moonshine" did I realize who Tasha was. I followed her from then on and still receive her newsletter and emails. Have you ever seen her book on love called "All for Love". I do believe it is my very favorite. Did you know I am a write on Nowhere? I am actually Gretta from Gothere...Smile.

Good evening dearest one! Again, a masterpiece and the center of my artist's heart: miniatures! There is nothing more enchanting and intriguing than seeing a small version of the everyday things we see...you are the master creator of such charm!!!! Anita

OK, let's try that again.
Dear Tita,
Anita and I cannot thank you enough for the incredible woolytales rabbits that you sent us. Honestly, your talent floors me. To anyone lucky enough to buy one of Tita's (Particia's) creations (which her children contribute to in different ways) let me testify before heaven and earth that you WILL be absolutely delighted. We put ours under a glass dome in a place of honor.

Three cheers, a hoot, and a rrrrrr.
