Hello!!!*grin*
This is my newest children. I want to make something very special in a valentine theme. I was inspired by an illustration done years ago by our beloved, children's illustrator - Tasha Tudor. If you are not familiar with Tasha's book please visit her family site HERE, I promise it is a treat!
I meet Tasha in person years ago even made her a miniature Gorgi dog in which she smiled and thank you me for it, she said to me: " I have nothing like this"!
She is no longer with us , but she is present in our heart ,memories and amazing books.
I make mostly my children in a modern time but Tasha's illustration is from late 1800's so I tried my best to stay with the period , I even make the little desks to match the illustration!*grin*
I have added the original illustration so you can see....the children are listed on my ebay in which you can access the auction by clicking the picture on the right.
thank you so much for stopping by! Have a blessed weekend!Smiles~

TITA,
Oh my friend, these are so darling. This reminds me of an old school house that is down the street from my school. We used to take the kids there to spend a school day back in the 1800s. What an experience. We would all go dressed up....your creations are just darling and capture Tasha Tudor's quaint and beautiful style.
HOW ARE YOU? Nita
