more children....

Hello there,

One of the reasons I wanted to stop making the little doll house children was because I felt they were a little too bulky, although still in size. Of course it was much easier to sculpt and detail the dolls then...
well, couple years in "training" grin, I guess have allow me to  make them  a bit smaller.
I confess , it is much harder and takes me twice as long but over all, I think is well worth it! i still have couple dolls that I made last year listed on my esty, and they will be for sale starting today so if you like to get some.... hurry up!

Valentine mini Children

Hello!!!*grin*

This is my newest children. I want to make something very special in a valentine theme. I was inspired by an illustration done years ago by our beloved, children's illustrator - Tasha Tudor. If you are not familiar with Tasha's book please visit her family site HERE, I promise it is a treat!
I meet Tasha in person years ago even made her a miniature Gorgi dog in which she smiled and thank you me for it, she said to me: " I have nothing like this"!
She is no longer with us , but she is present in our heart ,memories and amazing books.
I make mostly my children in a modern time but Tasha's illustration is from late 1800's so I tried my best to stay with the period , I even make the little desks to match the illustration!*grin*

Hello dear readers~*grin*

I just listed these 2 little girls on my ebay. I have been working on improving the position on my girls because I want to give a lot of expression not only through the face expression but the body as well.
It is a little trick some times specially the way that I bake them but I got these 2 right and they look so much more "alive" !!!!!
Also... I adooooore the curly hair... it is so precious because it is soo sooo tiny!!!
okay... I will stop bragging, blushing, and get back to business!!*smiles*
