Harrison Fisher inspired Lady and her Papillon Dog

Ahhh.... who in the doll business does not *drew* over the *American girls* so beautifully illustrated by the great Harrison Fisher?*grin*
Danielle was inspired by the illustration below. I did not stay focused on a copy but rather "inspiration" was my point.
The papillon dog is one of my favorite. He/she is tiny and sweet.
They will be listed on Ebay tonight or tomorrow evening.

Patricia, the lady with the hat is very attractive, and his puppy is very tender! the whole thing is very very nice!
I do not understand that, but how do you calculate the size of the woman's arm?? when you make the model she already wears her hat?
your work is too fascinating for me ... I apologize if I ask so many questions .. ah ah!
hugs! Caterina

After a long day of teaching and crying, yes, crying....I come here and smile to see this papillon so perfectly done, and the LADY so beautifully perfected. Tita, you are a wonder my sweet, and I can only thank HIM for friends like you and others in our little world that seek to uplift and encourage. A wonderful work, indeed.

@Caterina, Don't apologize for teh question, grin,no problem. It only tells me that you DO pay attention.smiles!!!
The answer is yes! Her arms were sculpted last and the hat was in its place in order to make it just right.

Patricia, you are one of the few miniaturist respond with explanations! Besides being talented, you're also very humble, a quality hard to find!
