Mini and micro oil painting

My last post was about my mini painting. I had work on this painting for while because oil painting requires to have layers after layers and I like to get close to dry before I get to work again... I never draw prior painting.... whenever I start a canvas I erase the entire thing to create a soft background.... one of these days I will do a WIP so you can see what I am talking about it.
The small painting is very tiny . The canvas it self measures 1 1/4" by 1 3/4".I wanted to try to make a similar painting to see how it would turn out. As you see , because of the amount of subjects it is not very detailed however it looks nice in person. I will most definitely find a spot to hang it. I also start few other canvas some tiny and a little bigger.... but I will be working a little at time so it may take a while before I show it to you.
I did a lot work on my room this week . If I have a chance I do a post some time soon. I am so busy all day. I also will be posting a Collie and a cat soon....
It is not as cold here as it is every where else so I will send you a warm hug now!*smiles*

Oh I am so intrigued...these are both so wonderful and I so envy you that you have both the materials, the talent and the know-how! This is pure magic at its best, Tita. How I admire your eye and hand! MORE! MORE!!!! Thank you for the warm wishes, dear one; we are in a deep freeze out here. Thinking of you, Anita

You're very talented. It's a gorgeous painting. Wishing I could feel the warmth of the hug you sent. Where's the global warming that we were promised? LOL

Lovely, lovely, lovely! Do you use a magnifying glass when you paint in miniature Patricia?

Have a joyful day, Bonnie
