I was not planning to load my pictures the way I did but I will leave just like it is.
A little confusing this first picture , no? grin..... click on here and it will take you to the ebay auction. This is a special offering because I the starting bid is $.99 and shipping is free. For what? For any cat or dog that you would like me to make. I really can't wait to see what i will be doing. I will be sure to post here!*grin*
This is a fancy cat.... the eyes were a little darker than I expected so the pictures are not very nice because when it comes to cats , the eyes are the most important aspect!

This past 2 weeks I got few commission work to do. the funny thing is that 2 people asked me for a tiger rug when I was already working on one. One went flew to France this morning and the other will go to California soon. This one is available right now at ebay!

I won't say much about this wolf... he does have a story and involves my son Joshua... please click on the picture if you like to read about it.*smiles*

This was my *favorite* mini this week..... My children also vote one! It just makes me smile... pictures are not telling how tiny this kitten is....*grin*

I LOVE this poodle .... he/she would look wonderful next to a fancy lady....

This is my second Saint Bernard dog. he has been ready for while now. When I made my first one I made 2 at the same time.... I wanted to see if they would be very different form each other... I learned that if I have the mini at my sigh i can make a second one pretty close although still different due to the hand sculpt process but once they are way from me, even looking the pictures I can not duplicate.

Modern man, girl and animals

This past week or so I worked intensively on these items that you see here.I am getting better every time I sculpt a animal because practice does make a difference and more one work , better it gets.
I wanted to make a little girl to be set for a modern home. This one is so very cute. She is a little over 2" tall and pictures can be deceitful......grin... I love her little toes and feet marks.

So..... i did the same for this fellow. He is a little guy because he measures exactly 5 1/2" tall and man normally are taller but hey... there are a lot short man in this world ,right?
A little kitten... yes , this is different too. I like to make the short hair cats but I could not cut down the wool after this one was done because it looks just right for it.

Golden Retriever ... I had one once named Sandy.... I am not sure why I like to make this breed in a rest position... my next one will stand up.*grin*

Snow dog... fun dog to make and good to practice. He has the most beautiful fur... it is salt and pepper naturally carded so the highlights are so beautiful in person.
Like always ,they are available at eBay for you see or to take home. Just click at the pictures and it will take to each auction!
Thank you so much for coming back here , your comments and notes to me. Because of time consuming sometimes I thing not to post wondering if anyone really care to hear about it so when I get a comment from you , means a lot to me!*grin*

Reindeer and Elf

For Suzie.............

I had a lot of fun making this commission work. This was my first miniature elf and he sure made me smile.
I was asked to make a *Rodolph* and an elf and I thing this reindeer looks a lot like the real guy...don't you think? well... my husband told me that if this was not Rodolph , it was a reindeer with a flu.*grin*

Thanks Suzie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Special tree ornament...the love of making tiny things

My dollhouse Christmas tree is almost ready . I am also working with my roombox. I wish I had more time to take pictures but honestly I do my best because time is all that counts for me. I am making *gazillions* of things at the same time but once in while I take my time, because I enjoy so much, and work on something slowly wondering how it will look like at the end.
This is my top of tree ornament. It is a replica of a Irish ornament. The top is brass that ,using a press saw , created a the *loops. the ball is a wood bead with 3 holes. The ball has 100% Australian gold that comes in a sheet. It is 99.9% pure gold. Then 3 holes and each one a *real* vintage swaroviski diamond, not the the ones we see on eBay . I removed this from an antique piece that was no longer good for me.
Now, I sure hope I will get all done before Christmas so I Can show you my first room box. I have made changes and changes, that is normal to me, but all was very worth it.
I don't think I will have furniture ready but the the room will have a Christmas tree and few little things.
It is raining today ...I love this weather because is cold enough for my fire place to be on all day , plus a big pot of soup is almost done as I have 8 children to feed soon.......smiling and happy!

7 things about me award!

I must confess that I am *terrible* about the blog awards. I really don't get around too much to get to know many of the wonderful blogs out there because I am *SO* busy most of the time and when I am not busy that way I am with my family or enjoying the farm.

My dear friend Anita from castles crowns cottages and her kind husband Ruben , from Rattus Scribus have given me this thoughful Award.I thought this award was very interesting because I am to tell you 7 things about me that you probably don't know.

Before I do that I would like to invite you to visit both blogs by clicking on the blogs names above . If you haven't visited Anita's blog , be ready for a *royal treat*, I mean it!*grin*

The tales of Mr. Rattus will certainly make you smile and make you want to give him some comments. So please do take a moment and don't be a stranger!*grin*

Now ....seven things about me.... as *seven* is my favorite number!

1. I am absolutely terrible when it comes to directions. I am disoriented by nature. When I hear about husbands and wives that argue when they get lost because the wife seems to know best... I think...mmmm... not me. Mark ( my husband) is always right ... I mean... when it come to directions!*grin*

2. I love guns and to shoot. I have never missed a shot . I own a 270 rifle and I love it. It was not always this way. About ten years ago , when we lived in Miami , we had a break in while we were in our home in the middle of the night. Until then , I hated guns and I didn't even think we needed an alarm system. That experience changed my life. The next day I told Mark that I wanted the alarm and I wanted to learn to handle a gun properly.

Today I use the gun in our farm. Unfortunately , some times I get wild dogs and coyotes that comes to my pasture and kill my lambs just for fun... as sad it is , I have to kill them.

I like to shot at target ... specially on empty wine bottles.

3. My children *thinks* I am a bad driver..... I totally disagree, grin. I have my driver license since 1986 and I NEVER had a ticket or an accident while I was the driver.

4. Having said that , I was in a major car accident at age 2. This happened in Brazil. I flew out of the window during the impact. Mum ,broke her arm and was unable to move and my brother and sister were unconscious ...then a HUGE truck came on the road where I was standing... mum yelled my name as she couldn't move and I slowly moved out of danger but the truck collapse and all the pumpkins and watermelons rolled down the dirt road..... I remember the GIANT pumpkins.... well... they were giant to me at age 2.. I was then in 7 other car accidents during my childhood.Did I really say *7* was my favorite number?

5. I went to university to become a writer ( Portuguese of course) I only did 2 years as I moved to US . I choose French and German instead of English.... what was I thinking????? My plans were to finish my degree and take one more year on Journalism to become a reporter. That sounds so funny to me today!*grin*

6. I can not stand math. Simple math is fine. I know my numbers but I really should have worked better on my math in school. You need to see my first building that I built. It was meant to be 12' x 12'.... it is a small milking parlor for the milking goats and it turned up to be 12x 11 1/2.... well you may think that was not so bad... think again, it was terrible , because of my bad math , I end up have to cut all the tin to make it fit when all came precisely 12 x 12. Now I am building miniature rooms and furniture I am *much*more careful!*grin*

7. I am very sensitive person . I cry on funeral even if I never meet the person alive. Just recently our family went to a funeral for a man that lived down the street. I could see all the people staring at me because Icouldn't stop crying.... I was crying because I knew his wife and she looked so sad.

I also laugh when others are happy . It makes me feel happy too. If I could have chosen a job in my life would have been to deliver flowers because I always thought that was a marvelous job. One can get to see the happy reaction of the recipient and even though the person receive the flowers *knows* that the person how is handling is *not* the one that actually sent it... . I like that... I like when others smiles and are happy!*grin*

Animals and figurines

Was I busy this week? The answer is : YES! *grin*
This post will be not as long and detailed as I planned because I am planning to get some long rest and way from the computer for couple of days but I want to make sure I listed here in case you would like to see the live auction in which by the way , just click on each pictures to view it individually.
Above is a wolfhound dog. the neatest thing about this half wolf, half dog is his paws. I took extra time to sculpt each leg with maximum of realism details.

This dog is an Afghan hound dog was a real treat for me.I love to read about him and to work with silk instead of wool. His eyes turned up just like the real thing!

More and more I am enjoying creating kittens. I love the challenge and the fact that a dollhouse with kittens laying around brings life to it, won't you agree with me?*grin*

Here is my gentleman. His name is Albert. He is enjoying a cigar right her at my porch!!!!*smiles*

Clara is my new Victorian lady. She is petite and delicate.

I love this picture.... it reminds me of my own children....although my are all very brunet.*grin*

This little German boy has stole our hearts ....well. Kate and Becca are in love with him...

This actually one of my favorite of this week. This is a dolls' doll and she is TINY.... her little face is just so sweet and the fact that her arms moves is so nice. She is my French mini doll!

This little girl has a pup with her... go to the listing and see more...sooo sweet!

Sneak peek !

I am just trying out my pictures to see how this lovely gentleman and lady looks behind the lens. They will be up for auction next week . I am still finishing some details but it is almost done. I will post here along with my new animals when all are ready.

These two figurines are very nicely sized to the 1 inch scale... the lady is very tiny , smaller than the average dollhouse dolls making her very petite and delicate. I will tell you more next week.I hope you are all having a wonderful week and enjoying this beautiful weather!

White blue eyes horse

(If you like to view the auction , please click on the picture)

Last week , my dearest friend Anita, from castlescrownscottages did a marvelous post( like always) title * My fair ladies*.She also had received an award and one of the rules was to name 7 things that no one knows about herself...Anita said that she would love to have white horse the kind with blue eyes, pink noses and lips.
Needless to say that I was inspired by her pictures of a beautiful mature white horse in which was perfect because the little fellow that you see here has been sitting on my desk since last spring . He was patiently waiting for my inspiration to *dress* him and Anita gave just what I needed- Thank you Anita! *grin*

This grizzly bear is one of my favorites bear. I love his position but mostly his face. I now make the teeth bone color instead of white and I am very pleased with the results. real bears do not have white teeth!*grin*

This German short hair pointer dog was a job. Short wool is more time consuming that long wool application and if one makes mistakes in cutting , have to start all over again , plus face some glue problems.
This little fellow was good to me. I had no problems and he turned out great. I used a picture of a real dog from the internet and he had a similar collar. I decided at the end to add one but it can come off.

This past summer I spent a good time making Big Joe. he was not for sale . I made him for my porcelain ball jointed dolls. you can click Here to read about him and see more pictures.
Few weeks ago I decided that was about time for me to make a miniature horse. Big joe is always with me , I could not resist and made a Little Joe!*grin*

My little cats are getting some lovely attention on ebay. I am so happy about it because I really wanted to improve making the cats and I think I am getting better each time. The pictures will never be real about their size...........these cats are *very* tiny and to make 1mm glass , is a job alone.
