wolf & cats

Hello there,, and welcome to my new post!*grin*

I hope you are enjoying this day as much as I am and that your winter is as nice as mine!grin

Here is some of my new miniatures. This wolf have been patiently "waiting" on my work table for its fur. I sculpted him while back but because I made other wolves, including commissioned ones , I had him 'waiting' until I felt ready for him.

I did the furring a little different than my other ones as I wanted to experiment with new ways. He turned up really nice and looks a lot like the real wolf.
I also have the tabby cat listed . The gray cat below did not have a change for a post.I was so very busy , hardly came to computer this past week.

The teen and the 2 cats are finishing its auction this morning, but the others are available on my ebay.

Have a blessed and wonderful weekend!
Today is kate's birthday!!! Time for a break and head to the kitchen to bake our favorite Brazilian birthday cake! Yummy!I love to celebrate...can you tell??*smiles*

Animals ...work in progress

Yes, these are *not* done , but I am almost there. These wolves are my best ones to date .
I think it proves to me that when making animals , more I make better I get. I don't want to sound wrong , but just encourage (((you))) out there , that can't wait to make an excellent animal and get frustrated with your final results.... keep doing and you WILL get better!!*grin*
The cheetah is my first one. I love her.... as you can see .... she needs more spots.
Making animals can be very exhausting, so my best advise for those newbies is to take your time, take breaks by letting your work sit while you work on something else and them when it *calls* you, ( believe me, if you let , it will, grin) you will be excited and ready for it.

One last thing.... having pictures of the REAL animals in different poses is very important and helpful.

German Shepherd Dog & Howling wolf

Click on picture above to view the auction please!

Here I have one of my smallest work on animals this size. This German Shepherd measures under 2 1/2" tall. He is adorable.... It is almost as if he has a grin... and if you know me you know how much I like that!*grin*

click on the first picture to view his auction please!

I love to take pictures outside because of the natural light is great but also because I love my farm so very much! This was a fun picture!

This howling wolf is also one of my smallest ones. the teeth is so small is hard to see on the picture but he has 4 on the front and 2 on each side ( very pointed)

His face took me longer to sculpt than normal because I study 6 different pictures to get it right. At the end , I was happy!*grin*
