I was not planning to list this rag doll until next year but I changed my mind. He/she is now listed on ebay.Cats are one of the most challenge animals for me to do. I find that I have a long way to improve and to be honest with you sometimes I make up to 3 cats to finish just one.
The faces are the hardest for me but trimming the wool is pretty hard too. This cat is just a little over 1" and been at this size the details can be lost during the making process.
I make my own glass eyes for all my animals. Finding the *right* size for the cats was another struggle. I used to make a 2mm size and not I make 3mm and I think this made a huge difference on the cats in total, after all the life of the animal are the eyes, won't you agree with me? they need to be just right!*grin*
Momma bear and cub still available at ebay. I will miss this set very much. Momma bear has an expression that reminds me of my self. I am a mother of 7 and their is nothing in this world more precious to me than my children, grin, Momma bear is not a young bear and her muzzle will tell you and life was not very easy either.... alright, alright... why not have some fairy tale to it?*smiles*
