Turkish cat and GR dog

Good evening!!!*grin*

Okay... I am sooo excited!!! My dairy cow is about to have a calf. I will be milking her again and making cheese... yogurt... butter.. oh yes, yes, churn butter!!! Have you ever had homemade butter??? If you have not you don't know what you are missing - heavens!*grin*

It has been a long time since I milked Hershey. About a year and a half ago, I took her to a dairy farm so she could be breed with a dairy bull... but although we thought she was breed, she was not... I had her separated from all the other cows , specially from Fred, our non -dairy-bull and at the end she was not breed.sigh.
well... all the time was wasted.... I then placed her back in the pasture with Fred and she became pregnant. I knew she was pregnant but today I realized that she is about to give birth real soon.
I am a little worry as I am going to my first miniature show next week and kate is not available to milk her .. I am hoping that she will not go in labor until I am back from the show.

I know... this has nothing to do with my post... my head is in the clouds right now, grin, I (((( love))) Hershey and I love to milk her and make all the goodies from it. My children ( and neighbors, grin) appreciate my efforts too!!!*smiles*

I promise you I will post pictures as soon she gives birth... that is nothing more precious than a newborn calf....we will bottle feed it.... Oh yes, I will have to sculpt one too!!!!!grin.

okay... about the sculpts... oh... look at my auctions... I can only think about Hershey right now...lol

One more thing... my kiln is in bisque fire... ohhh I am so busy!!!*grin*
Life is good!!!

Yes, indeed! I tried homemade butter - at my grandma's back when I lived in Russia. You are correct - it is a heaven to have a possibility to make your own butter, sour cream, etc... When you only have time for everything? Good luck at your show. Mini hugs, Natalia

GOOD MORNING TITA!

Again, your creations are so realistic and your expertise is truly marked in every signature piece you make. I like how you are SIGNING your photos. That is wise. I hadn't thought of that for my art but perhaps I should.

It sounds like you will be having a DELICIOUS springtime, with homemade butter and YOGURT and cheese!!!!!!! WOW, I have never had the chance to taste that. ENJOY MY DEAREST! And soon we need to Skype; my weekends have been very busy as I know yours are too....

Have a beautiful day! Nita

Hi Mary,
I had to laugh with your comment!!lol
"Everyone" asks me the same thing... well, one is that I eat "very well" , health wise, and for the reason I only need 4 hours a sleep.
Another thing is that i "don't ' watch TV. I watch movies on Friday night but that is it!*grin*

Hi Pat! I too like that you are signing your photos! Great idea! The dogs eyes are so alive here Pat! And the cat is a princess no doubt! I can't believe how far your animals have progressed right before our eyes!, and in such a short time! You are gifted my friend, in so many ways. I am so happy that Hershey will soon have her calf, and you can milk her again! Yes, I have had homemade butter many many times, and fresh cream from the top of the milk.. I loved churning the butter with my grandma! She would make small "pats " as she called them, and put them in the refridgerator to send home with us..about a stick by todays standards, but it was a nice little rounded heap. By the way, I took your advise about the once a day medicine, and feel SO much better!! No sniffling, sneezing, watery eyes, ect..thank you! xoxo Christel

I would love to learn to make butter, cheese or any dairy products. I only have a supermarket that gives milk..lol! Not sure if that would work and give the same results.

You sound most content Pat, so happy for you!
