((( new picture , already milked Hershey and let her spend some time with " Penelope", yep, Gabbi named her already!!))):)
YES YES!!!! Hershey had a baby some time last night!!! I new it!!!It is a GIRL!!!!*double grin*
I woke up around 4 pm... earlier than normal, anxious I guess and made cinnamon buns... my kitchen was still dark, I lit a beeswax candle and started up with some strong coffee.
To be honest with you , I was not thinking that Hershey had the baby yet but I guess my mother instincts were acting up!!!:))
My kiln was firing over night so I walked up to my potter's shop and "heard' a soft moooo...grin....ran home as the children were already up and about , running to the kitchen ,screaming.... okay not really screaming... (((jumping))) giving everyone the good news!!!
you can only understand my excitement if you ever had a cow as a pet. it is hard to explain the connection i have with her.
I have to go now.... I was not expecting so early and made my mind that I will go ahead and milk her colostrum and bottle feed the baby... Gabby who is my milk maid for the goats only , just told me she will be willing to milk Hershey while i am in the show.
kate is my other milk maid, grin, but she is a firefighter and EMT and mostly works night time so I won't know if she can milk Hershey for me.... we shall see... i am not worry ... i am soooososoososo happy!!!grin
okay, i will take pictures and... uhh.... make a video.... if i can only be quite.... "hold me down please!!!!" LOL
I will be back as soon as I can.... yeahhhh!!!!!
look at the baby.... she still wet... so precious!!!
