The Black Swan

My name is Anita Rivera from Castles Crowns and Cottages and I am proud to guest post for my esteemed friend Patricia Cabrera. Her ethereal work represents truths in life and I am honored to present her latest piece which will be offered on ebay titled,

The Black Swan

The fact is, light and darkness walk side by side

in each one of us.
But the question is HOW?

The Black Swan has her tale to tell

but you must come closer to see the details.

You see, it's a dance

with yourself

and an awareness of your choices in life.

None of us can turn away from ourselves

but rather we have the strength to face the duel shadows that exist in us all
and dance the rhythm of peace and healing.

"The job of the artist is to unearth the forgotten to bring to light that which is in the dark." - Anita Rivera ©

Dearest Pat, Anita, Gabby, and sweet Becca..I truly love this post, the dance in life is a journey, which takes us down many paths. Pat, you have created a beautiful dancer in the black swan. A lovely piece! The ispiration you receive from your beautiful children shows within your art, and from your hands..there arises magic! Anita dear lady, your eloquent words perfectly describe this piece, and this time in life for Pat. You are such a wonderful friend, to so many. Gabby, and Becca..the photos are gorgeous..as your Mother is! Love to you all, Christel

BONJOUR TITA!

Thank you for coming to visit me last night dearest. It was so fun to try to pump out this post for you, with a bit of a deadline....it was fun. I cold have made it longer, but your art speaks for itself. We can try to collaborate again in a way that I can actually write a longer narrative or more edited poem. I worked too fast on it, but the idea could be improved. Either way dearest, thank you for trusting me....Nita
