Kiwi - Amazon Parrot in 1:6 scale ( w/video)

Hello dear readers~*grin*

Some of you that have visited my other blog have probably seen my bird - Louro. He is my companion bird and although I do have 2 other ones, Louro is my favorite because he has me as his favorite too.

His favorite thing to do is to laugh specially when we are having supper every evening. As soon the children , my husband and I start to talk as we eat , Louro wants to be part and sometimes we can not even hear ourselves.
Louro says clearly the name of the children in which he has learned from me so that means is mostly loudly...well... I am often calling the children in ( that explain,no?*blushing*)!
Among other sentences my favorite is " Mommy que cafe" which means Mom wants coffee and sometimes he says HE wants coffee too!!!*grin*

Can you tell I am Brazilian????

Okay, now to the sculpt.... I made Louro in miniature . I did not want to try for my first try out , a 1:12 scale because its size and I truly wanted to have a chance to workout the details . So I made him in a 1:16 scale in which is good for some French dolls, fashion dolls, and other sizes dolls.

I will list my sweet kiwi on eBay shortly and perhaps he will find a good home out there.

Now... ....grin... below is a new video of Louro.

The miniature Louro is soooo precious! You are very talented. Big Louro made me smile :)) thankyou!!! He's gorgeous, I needed to smile. Jackie(?) is darling, my heart melts for tiny dogs. Louro reminds me of my Galah who was named Cobber, he was my baby and my friend, long passed away.

Louro looks like he can be a character when he wants to be. I bet he is a lot of fun!

Your recreation at that scale is pure perfection! The feathering is so realistic. Great job Patricia.

You shouldn't show him lying upside down in your hand ... looks too real : ) I've been away so long I fear I missed all too many wonderful things like your beautiful Kiwi here. The music is divine!
