"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." Psalm 127 : 3-5

Farmer boy and his troubled pig!
I have a *true* story to tell you about the inspiration behind this set. After I wrote on my listing at ebay I was unable to copy and paste here so if you are curious , please visit me auction! Have a wonderful evening~smiling!!!
oh just wonderful Pat! Seems many of us are in the "piggy" mode these past few weeks! Your looks a whole lot more real than my flying pig! I also saw the two girls, and thier dollies..so sweet! Keep up the wonderful inspiring work! xoxo Hugs, Christel
They are fantastic Patricia! The face of that pig....wonderful! (Yes the boy is cute too, lol). Love your story on the inspiration for this set. Many years ago I was an exchange student and lived with a wonderful, loving and fun farmers family in the USA. They were dairy farmers, but also kept 100 pigs (which luckily were kept FAR away from the house). The kids all showed pigs at many farm shows and won lots of prizes with them. Clever animals, pigs! Great memories.
YOUR SCULPTURES TELL THE STORY! Oh my goodness...I love pigs. But you make them even CUTER DEAREST!!!!! I will never understand how you make something look so really out of clay. I tried working with dry clay last week and was unsuccessful. I declared that I have given up clay and will work with paper maché for what I want to do!!!!! There is only enough room for a handful of CLAY MEISTERS, and you are one of them my sweet!
Have a lovely weekend and I will visit later tonight or tomorrow; our construction and being back in the classroom has taken up my time......love, Nita
Patricia el cerdito te ha quedado de lo mas real, es una verdadera maravilla. Y ese niño intentando domarlo es fantastico. Que genial trabajo, enhorabuena. Feliz fin de semana besitos ascension

About my Miniature work
All animals on this blog were handmade by me. Although pictures are enlarged, they are dollhouse ( 1:12 scale). The animals are handsculpted over a wire armature . I use cernit clay because is durable and flexi-able. most of my animals have wool that were applied with a precise technic or they have wool flockling. All figurines and furnitures are also made by me and are all One Of a Kind
