Little people

My first post!*grin*
I have been wanting to do a blog just for my miniature work for a long time . I thought that would be crazy since I have the other blogs already to keep up, but honestly, I want to record my miniature progress and I am not ready for a website. Blogging is perfect what I am doing here. I plan to post only few selected work of mine , some of my vary favorite...*grin*... Like Anabelle and Alexandre. These my two new figurines . Anabelle is my smallest lady yet. Before Idressed her she measured only a little over 5" tall. You may think there is not a big difference from 5" to 5 1/2" , but I will tell you that only holding her you would understand how *big* the difference it is, specially when comes to painting and costume.

Anabelle, has a parasol that is remo-able from her hands. She is dressed in fine 100%silk.

She has a lovely gentle look that reflects perfectly from a lady of the Victorian Era.

It took me *forever* to make her shoes. They are real lace up leather shoes. I sew with the tiniest needle and my eyes had to rest between each hole - love it, don't you?

Alexandre is an older gentleman, like my lady , he has many tiny details. He is also smaller than the average size dollhouse man.... he measures 5 3/4". His entire outfit was made from 100% silk.

He is amazing in person. His face has a strong character .
I will miss both of them when I list them and I am having second thoughts ...grin... but as an artist that is what I do- make things that I love and hope that others will love it too.
I will post her when they are available and where.
I am almost done with a reindeer and a sleigh.... what a challenge... I won't say it to much until my next post.

Hi Patricia,
OMG!! I am in love with this new blog. You are so talented!! Your work is amazing. How do you find the time to take on more than one blog? I tried to have more than one and I just couldn't keep up. My hat goes off to you!
