Bill, a modern man

Good evening dear friends and visitors! *grin*

On my last post I showed you a male head that I was working on. Well I haven't finished him yet because I think he is a character.... I am thinking of a cowboy or some kind of character.

Meanwhile I felt like sculpting a full sculpt. I normally create heads and limbs because I like my dolls to be posable but  full sculpts are fun to make and serve differently in the dollhouse world, don't you think?:)
Its late at night but I decided to make a post to show "Bill". he is already listed on my etsy store if you like to take him home, grin, or just enjoy view his pictures below!:)

He has a lot details... his skin is textured and you can see tiny blood veins too. I also added few veins on his hands and legs because his body is medium muscular frame.

For international viewers, the picture showing the dime coin is  about 3/4 of an inch (the coin). His face is very small and proportional.
I hope you enjoyed your visit !
Have a lovely Thanksgiving week, for those that celebrate.

Miniature man * Bathroom & Bath*

Greetings!!!!!!!!!!!*grin*
I know most of you would laugh to know that I thought a *lot* before I made this doll...why? because he is NUDE and anatomically corrected!
I really wanted to make few dolls for bathroom setting , including woman , children and babies .
In everything I make I *try* my best to make it as life like as possible and that is included all my dolls.
I don't have any problem with nude art , no matter if is painted or sculpted but needless to be distorted.
My little guy is just an ordinary-every-day gentleman that is ready to get into the shower... brush his teeth or shave.
He is very detailed . His eyes are my own glass eyes and if you visit his auction ( just click the picture on my left bar) you will see a lot more pictures , including detailed hands...feet ... and more.
Next will be some roombox updates, a horse and a carriage and a new dog.

Little people

My first post!*grin*
I have been wanting to do a blog just for my miniature work for a long time . I thought that would be crazy since I have the other blogs already to keep up, but honestly, I want to record my miniature progress and I am not ready for a website. Blogging is perfect what I am doing here. I plan to post only few selected work of mine , some of my vary favorite...*grin*... Like Anabelle and Alexandre. These my two new figurines . Anabelle is my smallest lady yet. Before Idressed her she measured only a little over 5" tall. You may think there is not a big difference from 5" to 5 1/2" , but I will tell you that only holding her you would understand how *big* the difference it is, specially when comes to painting and costume.

Anabelle, has a parasol that is remo-able from her hands. She is dressed in fine 100%silk.

She has a lovely gentle look that reflects perfectly from a lady of the Victorian Era.

It took me *forever* to make her shoes. They are real lace up leather shoes. I sew with the tiniest needle and my eyes had to rest between each hole - love it, don't you?

Alexandre is an older gentleman, like my lady , he has many tiny details. He is also smaller than the average size dollhouse man.... he measures 5 3/4". His entire outfit was made from 100% silk.

He is amazing in person. His face has a strong character .
I will miss both of them when I list them and I am having second thoughts ...grin... but as an artist that is what I do- make things that I love and hope that others will love it too.
I will post her when they are available and where.
I am almost done with a reindeer and a sleigh.... what a challenge... I won't say it to much until my next post.
